Mazamitla

Mazamitla, Jalisco, Mexico – 2022. Mazamitla is a town and municipality of the Mexican state of Jalisco. It is located 124 km south of Guadalajara and is a popular resort destination for travelers from Guadalajara and other nearby urban centers. It is surrounded by hills, mountains and pine forests which gives it a district alpine feel which is why it is referred to as the “Switzerland of Mexico.” Not far from Mazamitla we visited the Mundo Aventura Ecological Park which has a suspension bridge, a zip line and other extreme activities.
